SESSION FALL 14

GESTUAL - RUNNING TECHNIQUE
HEADLAND EXERCISE CODE
GESTUAL - RUNNING Running technique circuit VTC02

Set up as in the diagram, players perform the following circuit of stations to improve running skills. This circuit is continuous and of stations based on time. Players perform each station for 20’’ and rest of 20’’. Players perform 3-4 series with 2-3’ rest between each one. The stations are as follows: Static arm movement with leg forward Zigzag front., at., and dorsal (6 cones) Specific run backwards of 15 m. Skipping 10 metres. Turns around cones front. and lat. (4 cones) Alternate turns of 360º and 180º between 7 cones Frontal slalom (6 cones) Skapping 10 metres Specific vertical strides over 10 m.

HEADLAND EXERCISE CODE
ASSIST-KICK Passing squares in 12x12m. PAS05

Set up as in the diagram and with 5 players in which the objective is to score goals against the
opposing team per group they perform the following action: Control and give: We start where the
2 players and the ball are situated. Players perform pass to the team mate on the side in the
direction of play, who leaves the ball 2m away and towards the inside, so that the 1st can pass
to a 3rd, who in turn lays off for the 2nd, who will pass to a 4th,…We remain at the station where
we executed the pass (except when starting the drill). If there are 6 players we put 3 at one
Station and wait or put 2 balls and 2 in opposite stations.

ARRIVALS
HEADLAND EXERCISE CODE
ARRIVALS Long attack between 5 both wings LEG16

Following the spatial distribution shown in the diagram, we perform 2 different attacks on goal between 5 players . The combination is developed with the following actions: A passes to B, who passes to C who executes a triple Wall-pass with E, B and himself. D previously supports and drags to leave space for E. C gets to the wing and crosses for the arrival of D at near post, E at far post, A at distance and B for rebound. Actions rotate anticlockwise and after set time change wings.
